Toledo at Virginia Commonwealth

VCU has emerged as a national program under Coach Smart, and their opener saw them blast the SEC's Tennessee by 16 points. The Rams' win marked the 20th straight home win for the #15 ranked team in the country. Toledo was a big success last season, winning a school record 27 games. The Rockets struggled offensively in their opener hitting just 3-11 from deep, and turned the ball over 17 times. That will be problematic against a VCU team predicated on pressure defense as the Rams have led the country in steals in each of the last three years and had 10 in their opener. That should help hold down scoring from Toledo and with a high total set here, it may be out of reach.
