Texas State at Coastal Carolina

The one good thing about this game between Texas State and Coastal Carolina is that someone has to win it. The Bobcats come in seeking their first win vs. an FBS team this season, and at the same time Coastal Carolina owns a 42-point loss to an FCS team in Western Illinois. Texas State has dropped their last six games and have failed to cover their last four. A lot of that can be attributed to a -8 in net turnovers, as they have forced just four turnovers all season. That should start going the other way as turnovers have an element of randomness in them. Coastal Carolina has turned the ball over 13 times this season, so this could be a good spot for that to change. Carolina will be favored for the first time all season, and I think the oddsmakers have over done things. Look for the Bobcats to stay in touch here, so play on Texas State.
