LOSS

After losing that game to Oklahoma on the road, this team has been playing solid ball winning their last 5 straight inluding road wins by 21 against Texas Tech and a 13 point win at Missouri - both teams that are better than Oky State right now in my opinion. This team even beat Iowa State by 20 and Memphis on the road by 11. I beleive Texas has more than proven itself on the road except for the 1 loss to Oklahoma a very undervalued team on the road and of course the loss in Duke when they're big man got hurt. The point being is that Oky State is no Duke and no Oklahoma and given their off court issues, I beleive Texas rolls by about 18 in this game. Oklahoma State has dropped seven of their last eight, showing their true colors in Big 12 play. Texas, meanwhile, has disposed of nearly everything in their way this season. They've covered the spread this season as favorites of 24, 18.5, 10, 15, 12.5, 12, and 26. In fact, as a double digit favorite, they are 8-4. Three of four of those ATS losses were very close too. They won by 19 as a 20 point favorite against Baylor, won by 13 as a 15.5 point favorite vs. Texas A&M and won by 19 as a 20 point favorite vs. Nebraska. They could very easily be 11-1 as a double digit favorite. Here we get them just below that mark laying 9.5 against a leaderless Oklahoma State club. Their coach is dealing with DUI and medical problems. Texas is 6-4 ATS at home this season while Oky State is just 4-56. Over their last five games Oklahoma State has managed just 55.6 points per game on way to a 1-4 mark. Texas is putting up 79 per game and holding opponents to 59 on the season. These 2 teams played earlier in the year and Texas won by 34 at home and granted this is a revenge for Oky State but plain and sweet, they just don't have the talent level nor the coaching to compete now. Sure, they could win one for the coach but it is hard for a JV calibre squad to play an elite college basketball team in Texas and keep it close. Given that this team lost to Kansas by 15, I beleive Texas rolls again by about 18. One star on the Longhorns.
