Texas at Detroit

The Rangers got a huge win in extra innings last night with a walk off grand slam to take a 2-0 series lead to Detroit for Game 3. Doug Fister has done a brilliant job since coming over from the Seattle Mariners, but his career numbers vs. this hard-hitting Rangers team aren't up to par with his overall numbers. Fister has pitched to a 4.50 career ERA vs. the Tigers in four starts, in his three big league seasons. The Rangers have gotten mixed results from Colby Lewis this season, but there is nothing mixed about his results vs. the Tigers. Detroit has gotten to him for 23 earned runs in just 26.1 innings the last two seasons, for an ERA of 7.86. The bats will be in control for this one, so I'm playing this one to go OVER the total.
