Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (MISS DAY O'SEA) (2-1) - Speedy filly drops to a new low in her second back from a seven week break. She set a quick and pressured pace before tiring to check in a distant third here Dec. 6 racing for a $25K tag. State bred gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (High Grade) (5-2) - Very quick from the gate, she runs today for the first time since May 29. Competitive in three of four earlier this year and filly finished second twice locally at this level during that time. Dangerous if ready.
3rd pick: #4 (Validity) (8-1) - Even paced 4-year-old switches from grass to dirt in her second back from a three month layoff. She has figures on the turf that fit with these if repeatable on the main track.
4th pick: #3 (Garshie Marshie) (12-1) - Well bred filly has some early speed but has been tiring during the stretch run in all five starts. Unless she steps it up a minor award at a big price is her ceiling.
