2nd pick: #7 (Whiskey Weather) (3-1) - Ontario-bred exits the same last race as "Broad" and also showed some early speed before tiring badly. Race was her first in almost eight weeks and her first on real dirt. She's worked since and her trainer (Dennis Ward) is having a great meet. Win candidate and I almost out her on top.
3rd pick: #6 (Blonde Diva) (8-1) - She raced close up before weakening here at this price tag on Jan. 23. Race was her first off a trainer change to Bob Smith and he'll race this filly without blinkers for the first time. A minor award is possible
4th pick: #8 (Imperial Juliet) (8-1) - Her debut here on Jan. 27 racing for twice this tag saw her race evenly while having a bit of traffic problems. She draws a nice outside post and an "ice cold" barn drops her price in half. A small slice is her ceiling.
