Premium Pick

Top pick: #1 (WILLA WONDO) - Consistent filly (13-2-6-1) has some back class and will be racing for the first time since late September. In the barn of the leading trainer at this meet (Jamie Ness) and this 4-year-old by "Wando" is working fast and is the horse to beat. Ohio-bred is part of a strong entry from the barn and only one will go.

2nd pick: #1a (Wild Heir Cat) - The second half of the Ness entry, lightly raced filly was an easy winner here racing for $10K to clear the 2l condition. Claimed that day by Ness, he brings her back in less than three weeks and drops her slightly in price. The horse to beat if she runs.

3rd pick: #2 (Dogtooth Violet) - She rallied from far back going 6.5 furlongs at this price to get her second win a month ago. Overall effort was her best since last summer, and she would benefit the most if a speed-duel were to develop.

4th pick: #10 (Successful Lady) - Filly has improved a bit in her last pair and brings some early speed to the contest. May hold on for a minor award.
