The Blue Jays are playing their best baseball of the season, in spite of a 1-run setback last night, as they are 6-1 in their last seven games. Ricky Romero has shown a lot despite his 3-4 record as he has a 3.35 ERA and has matched his inning total of 51 with an equal amount of strikeouts. Command issues are biting Wade Davis right now for Tampa Bay as he has walked 14 in his last 22 innings, and isn’t getting deep into games. The Jays are perfect in their last five after scoring 5 or more, and Romero is bringing a little extra vs. the better teams where the Jays are now 5-1 the last six times when faced with a winning record. Toronto in this one.
