Tampa Bay at Detroit

The Tampa Bay Rays got the better of Detroit yesterday, but this is still a Tigers team that has played about as well as anyone outside of a bad stretch. Anibal Sanchez has been most impressive for Detroit as he has allowed more than 3 runs just one time all season, and navigating the light-hitting Rays' attack should not be difficult. Chris Archer has pitched well for Tampa Bay, but the Tigers have a better pitcher on the hill, are playing at home, and have a much more difficult lineup to navigate. The Rays are 0-7 behind Archer if he is off a quality start in his previous outing, and the Rays are just 3-9 here in their last 12 games. Go with Detroit in this one.
