Tampa Bay at Baltimore

Tampa Bay banged out 13 hits to win its second game in a row over Toronto on Wednesday as the Rays continue to play spoilers in the playoff race. Yovani Gallardo is 5-7 with a 5.44 ERA and Baltimore has lost five of his last six starts. Gallardo has allowed 20 runs, 17 earned and 27 hits in his last 24 1/3 innings. He was 1-4 with a 5.46 ERA in August. Blake Snell will be facing Baltimore for the first time. The Orioles are #26 in the major leagues with just a .687 OPS against left-handers and 29th with a .232 batting average versus southpaws. Snell still has a 3.62 ERA overall in spite of a rough outing his last time out against the Yankees. The Orioles have lost six of their last seven home games after a road trip of at least seven days. Take advantage of the road underdog and play the Rays.
