LOSS

The UConn Huskies may be the closest thing to being the Cardiac Kids. They have seen all three of their games come down to the wire, and they have prevailed twice and lost once. The one loss was against Navy at home, where they rallied from a 21 point deficit to take a lead, only to relinquish it late. The game ended in controversy as UConn Coach Bob Diaco burned his final time out with :17 seconds on the clock, from the half yard line. It was second down, and he fatally decided to call a running play, and the Huskies were stuffed, and three potential plays from the half yard line became one, as the clock ran out after just one running play. The Huskies should be 3-0. The Huskies are often burdened with playing teams pretty even, especially at home, but they seldom lose here in the role of a home favorite where they have been 37-13 SU. Syracuse was once a national power and had a winning road record from 1987-98, but over their last 17 seasons, the Cuse has had a winning road record just two times. In fact, they are 18-54 SU on the road over those 17 seasons. If you exclude the 2010 season, when they had a very good team, they went 5-1. The Huskies at this point are the better team, and prevail in these spots, while Syracuse has been an epic failure as a road dog, even during the good years as they are 22-90 SU since 1980. Take UConn on the moneyline.
