Nothing good can come out of the quarterback change in St. Louis this week. Despite what they may be saying publicly, this team wants Bulger taking the snaps. With Bulger, this team has gone 5-0 (after an 0-5 start), including big wins against Oakland and San Diego. Bulger’s 106 pass rating tops the NFL!! His teammates believe in him and believe they can win with him. I am not sure the same can be said for Warner right now. Unless Warner comes out absolutely on fire, this controversy is going to hurt the Ram’s chemistry.
I think the Rams will struggle on the road in the cold. They are just 1-4 ATS in their last five away from the dome. If Faulk can’t go as expected, it will only exacerbate the problems.
Despite Bulger’s heroics, St. Louis was barely able to scrap out a win against a hobbled Bears team last week. Their luck will run out soon and I expect it to be this week.
