St. Louis at New York

Thursday's game was suspended with the score tied 4-4 in the ninth inning and it will be finished before the start of Friday's scheduled contest. St. Louis has won four of the last five meetings and it has Daniel Ponce de Leon on the mound tonight and he'll be making his second start of the season. He allowed a run on two hits in five innings against Milwaukee in April before being sent down to Triple-A. The right-hander appeared in 11 games in 2018 and finished with a 2.73 ERA and .205 opponent batting average and the Mets will be seeing him for the first time. Steven Matz goes for New York and the Cardinals are batting a combined .302 against him. Matz gave up 10 runs (six earned) on nine hits in 7 1/3 innings versus the Cards last season. It's a good situation for the road underdog, so play the Cardinals.
