The Chicago White Sox had to be wondering if there was anything left in the tank regarding John Danks, but he has pitched markedly better in recent starts. Danks, in two of his last three outings, has allowed 0 earned runs covering 13 innings of work. The Cards have the best record in baseball, but not any of that has been achieved in their last 18 games where they are 8-10. The Cards offense is always the big question mark, and how long can they keep out pitching it, and keep winning. Lance Lynn has been solid all season, but Danks may have the edge here as the Cards have never seen him. Danks has proven of late he still has the stuff to pitch a gem, and the Cards' bats are highly suspect. Make the play on Chicago.
