St. Louis at Carolina

The Blues got off to a roaring start by sweeping the Redwings two games in Sweeden, but the trip has taken its toll as they are just 2-5 since returning home. The Blues scored nine goals in the pair vs Detroit, but have had a hard time finding the outside of a 5-0 win vs Anaheim.  The Blues attack has managed just ten goals in the other six, or 1.67 a contest. The Hurricanes will be glad to get back home after a distasteful road trip that saw them drop all four, running the losing streak to six straight, with five on the road. Blues have never been road warriors as they carry a 51-107 mark in their last 158 as a road dog while Hurricanes a potent 15-4 as home chalk from -110 to -150 on their last 19. Carolina gets the win here.
