WIN

South Florida has been impressive (16-10), and doing it with defense. They are tops in the Big East allowing 58.6 points per game. They are tied for third place in the Big East with college hoops heavyweight Georgetown, both with only four losses in league play. The Bulls also are six games over .500 in the conference for the first time in the program's history. The Bulls are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog and take on a Pitt team that is just 3-10 ATS in their last 13 home games. The Panthers are also just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 home games against a team with a losing road record. The South Florida defense will keep this close and note that the Bulls are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings with Pitt, plus the underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Play South Florida. In addition, this total is too high. South Florida completed a season sweep of Villanova with a dominant 65-51 victory last week. Villanova failed to crack the 60-point mark in both meetings with USF this season and only had 20 points in the first half. "They just really function as a unit defensively really well," Villanova Coach Jay Wright said about the attacking USF defense. "They are one of the best defensive teams we've played against." The UNDER is 16-5 in the Bulls last 21 overall, as well as 9-2 UNDER the total in their last 11 road games. Pitt comes off a loss and plays better defense after a defeat, at 11-4 UNDER the total after the Panthers lose a game. Look for both teams to play great defense, so play the UNDER.
