The Yankees have had their ups and downs offensively this season, but the truth is there have been many more downs than ups. A team that was supposed to challenge the 1,000 run mark this season has been held down by injuries and slumping players the entire season. As amazing as it sounds, the Yankees are 32-14 to the UNDER on the season. They also have been aided by pitching that has been better than advertised especially the pen, especially of late. Seattle has been slumping offensively all season and it doesn't matter who throws against them. This is a team that has scored 4 runs or less in 18 of their last 22 games.
