Seattle wraps up a series in Los Angeles playing bad baseball, a three-game skid as well as losing 11 of 12. Seattle may have ace Felix Hernandez going, but he returns to the mound after a 20-day absence. He hasn’t pitched since suffering an oblique injury on Sept. 2nd. Hernandez has lost four consecutive decisions and owns a bloated 7.84 ERA during the stretch. He faces a Los Angeles offense that is one of the best in the game, with speed and power, sixth in baseball in runs scored, fourth in on base percentage, and fifth in slugging. Angels star Mike Trout has feasted against Hernandez, recording a .405 average in 37 career at-bats - including two doubles, two triples and a homer. Los Angeles won the first two games of the series to improve to 7-1 at home against the Mariners this year, and increase its late-season run to 21 wins in 28 games.  The Mariners are on an 8-21 run with one of the worst offense around, 24th in baseball in runs scored and 26th in on base percentage. King Felix is 8-13 against the Angels, plus the Mariners are 1-9 in Hernandez's last 10 road starts vs. the Angels. Meanwhile Los Angeles lefty C.J. Wilson has won nine consecutive decisions, and is 3-0 versus the Mariners this season. Play the Los Angeles Angels.
