Cy Young and World Series MVP Curt Schilling is back it seems as he currently sports a 2-0 record with a 1.93 era. Given that he is in the American League and his track record of injuries, the Red Sox should be thrilled. Schilling has gone 14 innings and has given up just 3 runs against 2 very good offenses in Texas and Baltimore. Seattle is 0-2 in Moyer's last 2 starts although Moyer has not pitched especially bad. Moyer sports a mid 4 era as he has given up 6 runs in 12 innings. But, he is 1-4 against teams in which the Mariners have been dogged by +150 to +200. The Red Sox are 61-11 when they are favored by -200 or more, and they are 16-4 in Schilling's last 20 home starts in Boston. It also helps that the Mariners are a dismal 2-10 in their last 12 meetings in Boston.
