(# 6) ASHIKI - New York-bred juvenile began her career in the top barn of W. Bret Calhoun at Lone Star Park. Daughter of the fine sprinter Intidab debuted in Texas. Took some serious money, and finished second in a field of 12. Sold privately, she is now in the Gary Contessa barn. She had a get acquainted breeze over the training track here on August 23, and if she can repeat the Texas unveiling, this miss would be tough to beat.

(# 4) Farri H. - Sneaky money came her way late in debut run. Forced extremely wide, she lost all chance at that point. Kimmel filly had a very strong work at Belmont on July 14, before she ran. Deserves another chance.

(# 2) Windy Street - Makes her first start for the underrated Albertrani barn. Daughter of Street Cry has mostly ordinary works, but this stable knows how to get a firster ready.

(# 3) Snare - Sent to the sidelines after a rather poor debut by Asmussen. Barn is great with young horses, and notice that horses in debut were separated by large margins, a sign that the race may be best forgiven her.
