Top pick: #6 (MANERO) - She's been freshened-up since June 3rd when she set the pace and tired to finish third in a stakes at Belmont Park. Trainer Phil serpe has her working well for this and she's gone (2-1-1-0) at this mile distnce. Gets the call in a very competitive contest.

2nd pick: #1 (Why Take a Chance) - She moves back to the grass after a strong second-place finish at this distance on the Belmont dirt June 28th. Daughter of "Hook and Ladder" has been competitive in both grass starts and her inside post is a plus.

3rd pick: #4 (My Jopia) - Home-bred rallied to win an allowance sprinting at Belmont April 29th. Race was her first evr on the grass and trainer Dom Schettino has her working fine for this stakes attempt. It's of note that Dominguez is aboard as he's won on her in the past and is Schettino's "go to" rider.
