Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (HONEST MISCHIEF) (2-1) - This lightly raced Juddmonte homebred ships from Churchill where he finished a distant 2nd in a $100K sprint stakes June 6. The race was his first since Nov. 30 and was completed in 1:07.40 for the six furlongs. I give him top billing.
2nd pick: #6 (Captain Scotty) (9-2) - Very fast from the gate, he tired badly in a grass sprint at Churchill June 27 in his first race in four months. A G2 winner Jan. 25 at Santa Anita, he enters off a fast work and his outside post will give Manny Franco some early options.
3rd pick: #3 (Admiral Lynch) (4-1) - Speed/stalker enters off of eight straight competitive dirt sprints dating back to early August of last year. He fits well on figures and should factor in what will be only his second start ever on the NYRA circuit.
4th pick: #1 (Wendell Fong) (5-1) - Freshened up since a pair of good efforts in sprint stakes at Oaklawn Park earlier this year, this stalker has the rail, fits with his 'A' game, and can factor if ready in his first since April 18.
