3rd pick: #1 (Lieutenant Colonel) (6-1) - One promising gelding ships from California where he's been racing since coming back from a nine month layoff early in 2016. He won twice that winter at Santa Anita and was stakes placed in a G2 there in the early spring. Has some speed, is training fast, and he draws the rail in this two turn contest. Dangerous with his best.
