Top pick: #4 (LADY GOLD) - Filly had a lot of traffic issues when debuting in a turf sprint at Belmont June 29. Trainer Chris Clement will stretch her out this afternoon and he has good stats in the relevant catagories. Barn wins at a 24% rate second out, an impressive 46% when adding lasix, and a 20% clip when dropping horses into maiden claimers. Lots of things to like.

2nd pick: #2 (Ezpz Lemon Squeeze) - Debuting daughter of "Pure Prize" has a trio of sharp grass works showing and is bred to like the turf and two-turn distances. In the Rice barn and a threat in her first outing.

3rd pick: #7 (Langsyne) - Bred to like the grass, this filly made up some late ground when debuting in a 5 furlong sprint at Churchill June 26 in a contest that was switched to the main track. Price play is stretched-out this afternoon and trainer Eddie Kenneally wins at a 32% rate second time out.
