Top pick: #7 (SUDESTADA) (7-2) - Godolphin home bred raced evenly here at this level and distance July 31. She never got un-tracked after breaking from an inside post in a large field (12). She's worked since and the move farther out in the gate is a plus.

2nd pick: #8 (Hardcore) (3-1) - Lightly-raced and speedy, daughter of 'Hard Spun' has been sharp in both starts. Three-year-old set a quick pace here July 31 and held to finish third of 12, beaten 3-lengths. It was her first race since debuting at Gulfstream March 1. She's worked fast since and trainer Wesley Ward has her making back-to-back starts for the first time. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #6 (May Flowers) (7-2) - Stalker did not break sharply and was forced into a wide rally here July 31. She was 1 1/2 lengths behind 'Hard Core' and a long 'neck' in front of 'Sudestada.' Daughter of 'Congrats' had finished second in three of her previous four starts in grass sprints and must be left in the win mix.

4th pick: #5 (Blame Dixie) (5-1) - $300K filly by 'Blame' has been freshened up since July 2. In the Pletcher barn, she's working fast on the grass for her first ever on the lawn. Bred for the surface and John Velazquez is aboard.
