Top pick: #1 (FILM SHOT) - Improving colt by "Distorted Humor" has become a better horse since trainer Bill Mott brought him back from a brief layoff on April 13th and is (3-1-1-1) since then. He comes off a career best when finishing a solid third in the (G3) Hill Prince at Belmont on June 16th. Speed/stalker is working well since and draws the inside post.
2nd pick: #6 (Summer Front) - The probable favorite, he was a winner of the same June 16th contest that "Film" exits and defeated that rival by 1 1/2 lengths. Strong finisher is undefeated on the grass (4-for-4) and he would be no surprise.
3rd pick: #9 (Our Entourage) - One of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher and the pair race uncoupled. Repole Stable runner was just under three lengths back of "Summer" last out and did not have the best of trips. Has enough positional speed to overcome this outside draw and can factor at a square price.
