Top pick: #1 (FIRST BEACH) (6-1) - Price play improved noticeably in his second start when trainer Jimmy Jerkens added both lasix & blinkers, and switched him to the grass. Well-backed that day he was only beaten 2 1/2 lengths, and had some traffic issues turning for home. Stretches-out, has the rail, and looks set for his best.

2nd pick: #5 (All That) (4-1) - Colt has been freshened up since May 19th, and this son of "Big Brown" will be moving to the grass for the first time. 3yo has been competitive in his first pair, and is working nicely for his return. His father broke his maiden here by 15 lengths when debuting on this course.

3rd pick: #6 (Mio d'Oro) (5-1) - Son of "Medaglia d'Oro" has finished second in both starts since moving to the grass, and ships from Churchill off a career best on June 9th at Churchill Downs. Speedy sort should be involved from start-to-finish.

4th pick: #2 (Red Vine) (2-1) - The probable heavy favorite, he rallied from far back to finish third, beaten a neck when debuting at Belmont going seven furlongs on June 28th. He received a fast and contested pace that day and will be stretching out in distance for trainer Chris Clement (18% second time out). Win threat, but will be over-bet.
