Premium Pick

Top pick: #13 (HARRIER HILL) (5-2) - Darley home-bred has excellent early speed and will be dropping back into a claimer after tiring at Belmont on June 28th facing special weights. Son of "Bernardini" just failed two back racing for a $40K tag and faces similar this afternoon. Colt need one scratch in the main boday to get in.

2nd pick: #3 (Show Some Lovin) (6-1) - If "Harrier" doesn't scratch in, this shipper appears to be the main speed. He just missed two back at Pimlico facing special weights, but tired in his latest after a wide trip at Penn National. Trainer Mike Trombetta usually wins a few here and he drops this gelding into a claimer for the first time.

3rd pick: #7 (Lasso) (3-1) - If "Harrier" doesn't run, you're looking at the probable favorite. Gelding has been competitive in all seven grass starts and will be cutting back in distance. Strong finisher needs to avoid any traffic in this large field for a clear shot turning for home.

4th pick: #2 (Cowboy Prince) (8-1) - Much like "Lovin," he has some early speed and is also racing "Tagged" for the first time. Son of "Indian Charlie" breaks just off the rail and he should be on the hedge a few strides out of the gate. Dangerous.

5th pick: #10 (Ride a Song) (15-1) - I liked his chances last out at Belmont but colt was "Squeezed" at the break and did well to finish sixth of nine, beaten two lengths. Can factor at a big price.
