(# 5) Scottish Diamond - Claimed in last at Del Mar by Richard Dutrow, and he's always been deadly off the buy. Presently he's at 25% first time out with his new acquisitions.

(# 3) Kinsaler - Drops into a claimer off a pair of efforts against straight maidens. Broke slowly in both, but he's training well and the easier competition should help.

(# 4) The Emerald King - Five-year-old was claimed two years ago by his present trainer, and has only made one start since then. Return race at Del Mar wasn't bad.
