2nd pick: #9 (Cruxus) - Gelding showed good early before tiring speed last out at this price and distance Feb. 11. Longshot catches a group without alot of other visible pace and is dangerous on the lead at a projected long odds.
3rd pick: #2 (Papa P B) - He ran well to finish third last out at this price going 7 furlongs to a "much the best" heavy favorite. Race was his first off a Dan Hendricks claim and he'll stretch this colt out in distance this afternoon. Working fine and a win candidate.
