He did well to finish 6th of 12, beaten just over 4 lengths and trainer Steve Asmussen has worked him six times since Jan. 14. Can take this at a nice price.
2nd pick: #6 (Uno Dos Adios) (3-1) - He was bet when debuting on the Del Mar "poly" on Sept. 2, but was off slowly and ran evenly to be beaten 10 1/2 lengths in a race that had a 7 length winner. Trainer Bill Spawr has him working very fast for his return and he switches him to the grass. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Wind of Bosphorus) (7-2) - Speedy gelding finished third in his debut at Hollywood sprinting on the grass, and last out finished second in an "off the turf" contest. Working fast and she'll be in this all the way.
4th pick: #10 (Buckleberry Grey) (6-1) - She finished second here at this level and distance on Jan. 4, then showed little last out in an "off the turf" contest. Draws a nice post and she should contend in this spot.
5th pick: #3 (Blue Cherokee) (8-1) - Debuting filly is from the same barn as "Bosphorus," is bred for the grass, and is working fast for her debut.
