Top pick: #5 (VAMO A GALUPIDAR) - Lightly raced Chilean-bred mare rallied into a fast pace to post an impressive win here at this trip on the grass in a small stakes a month ago. From a "figure" stand-point it's the best last out of any and she's putting back-to-back starts together since the fall of 2010. She may have a very bright future ahead of her in grass stakes.
2nd pick: #11 (Briecat) - Talented 7-year-old mare is 10-for-30 overall and she finished a pace-setting second in this stakes exactly one year ago. Working fast for her third start since last March and trainer Vlad Cerin looks like he's set her up well for this. There's not a lot of other pace signed on, and she's a win threat on the front end.
3rd pick: #2 (Strawberrydaquiri) - English-bred marte kept some very good company in both Europe and the mid-east and is 6 -for-16 overall and has banked $430K. She tired after setting the pace last fall at Woodbine in the E.P. Taylor Stakes (g1) when making her North American debut and has been freshened up since then. Working fine, and four of her six wins have come at this mile distance.
