2nd pick: #1 (Finnegan's Wake) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he's won two rich G2 stakes in a row, the latest here going 9-furlongs in the San Gabriel Jan. 3. Very strong finisher is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Patrioticandproud) (3) - One of two entered by trainer Mark Casse. He's finished second to "Finnegan" in his last pair and both were of the close variety. Another that comes from far back and he must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #8 (Dynamic Sky) (4-1) - He received a poor ride last out when taken well off the pace. He has more tactical speed to use and a very fast work on Jan. 28 indicates he'll be much nearer to what should be a moderate pace.
