Top pick: #1 (Q'VIVA) (4-1) - Improving filly has gone 4-0-2-1 since switching to the grass and all have been sprinting. One run type is stretching out to a mile and draws the rail. I like her chances.

nd pick: #2 (Hugh Knew) (5-2) - Daughter of "Henny Hughes" has a flexible style, and last out finished second at this level and distance on the Del Mar "poly" Aug. 14th. That was her first off an Ed Truman claim, and this filly is working very fast locally for her return. Win candidate.

rd pick: #7 (Bow Tie Belle) (10-1) - Lightly raced filly has been on the sidelines since getting her maiden win racing for a $20K tag on the Del Mar "poly" Aug. 23rd. Longshot is working nicely and she has strong human connections in her corner, Hollendorfer/Bejarano.

th pick: #8 (Ina Mia) (15-1) - Speedy sort is stretching out in distance and going dirt to turf for this attempt. Win was a career best, and her speed makes her a threat at a very big price.

th pick: #5 (Lamazone) (10-1) - No speed type broke her maiden here on the dirt for a $20K tag Oct. 3rd. Claimed that day by Ron Ellis, he moves her back to the grass this afternoon. Working fast and a stretch threat.
