Premium Pick

Top pick: #3 (TOP KISSER) (3-1) - Lightly-raced and talented, she comes off a career best when she went gate-to-wire in an entry-level allowance at this distance here on March 23rd. Home-bred by "Old Topper" has been competitive in all her appearances facing Cal.-breds (4-2-2-0) and gets a stern test today facing "open" company that will tell us if she's headed for stakes company down the road.

2nd pick: #11 (Miss Pippa) (7-2) - Her record is much like "Kisser's" and she comes off a second-place finish here at this level and distance March 16th. Solid effort came in her second back from a long absence (10 months) and this grey 4-year-old is a win candidate.

3rd pick: #7 (Miss Well Molded) (7-2) - Daughter of "Unusual Heat" rallied to check in 3rd of 11, beaten just under a length racing here at this condition and trip on Feb. 16. Filly followed that up with an even effort facing fellow Cal.-breds in a $100K stakes March 1th and is a threat at a square price today as she drops back down in class and is stretched back out in distance.

4th pick: #6 (Candy Trophy) (6-1) - She's gone (6-3-1-0) on the grass and last out had a very wide trip when finishing three lengths back of "Miss Well Molded." Fits, has more speed than most, and should be involved from start-to-finish.
