Top pick: #4 (ROB'S PAL) (5-1) - Speed/stalker moves back up in class, goes dirt to turf, and stretches back out in distance. In form gelding has raced well on the grass in the past and meets a weak field for the level. Price play.

2nd pick: #5 (Street Maven) (7-2) - He also moves up in class, goes dirt to turf, and runs fresh off a Doug O'Neill claim. Lightly raced and well-bred, 4yo is racing back into shape, and runs third off a 10 1/2 month layoff.

3rd pick: #2 (Big Medicine Man) (5-2) - Stalker takes the big drop into claimers for the first time and switches back to the grass after a poor effort on the dirt Feb. 17th. $195K 2yo purchase is a win candidate.

4th pick: #8 (Bertrane) (6-1) - Lightly raced gelding is by "Bertrando," who died the other day at age 24. He raced evenly facing tougher going "Down the Hill" on March 15, and is brought back in two weeks and stretches out 1.5-furlongs.
