Top pick: #6 (MASTER CHEF) (3-1) - Veteran moves up in class after a sharp second-place finish here facing low level starter-allowance foes on Feb. 15. Back in shape following several layoffs and this 7-year-old loves this surface 10-4-3-1.

2nd pick: #1 (Valdirone) (3-1) - Lightly-raced and speedy, 5-year-old gelding by "Bertrando" hasn't raced since an impressive maiden win here at this distante on Feb. 15 of 2013. Working very fast, he has the rail and is a strong win candidate.

3rd pick: #5 (Judge Carr) (9-2) - He was an easy winner here going 7-furlongs for a $16K tag on March 2nd in his first off a Bob Hess Jr. claim. He's worked since, and a repeat of the "figure" earned last out makes him a threat.

4th pick: #3 (Bobo) (6-1) - Another that's lightly raced, he comes off a near miss here at this level in a switched contest on March 1st. Nice effort came off a 6 1/2 month layoff and he's been working fast since.
