Top pick: #6 (PRINCESS GENEVIEVE) (8-5) - Well-backed when debuting in a grass sprint at this level on Dec. 21 at Hollywood, she finished 4th of 11, beaten 2 1/2 lengths in a solid first effort. Trainer Jerry Hollendorfer has worked her twice sine, brings her back quickly, and stretches her out to a mile. The top choice.

2nd pick: #5 (Euroclydon) (2-1) - She comes off a career best when she missed by a nose Dec. 14 at Hollywood when racing at this level and distance. She was bet that day in her first on the grass after being beaten 23 1/2 lengths in her previous race on "poly." Win candidate.

3rd pick: #8 (Papa's Flashy Girl) (4-1) - She exits the same Dec. 14 race as "Euroclydon" and rallied strongly to finish third, just over two back of that rival. That was her best effort to date and was her first on the grass.
