Top pick: #4 (CHOCOLATE CALIENTE) - Very speedy and lightly raced, her two best races in six starts came here last spring. Races third back off a six month layoff and trainer Mike Mitchell will drop her slightly in price. Tough to beat on the front end.
2nd pick: #10 (L'Enchanteresse) - Mare has been competitive in most all of her starts since her maiden win and has done so facing tougher in most. Drops slightly, and she finished a solid third here at this tag during the fall meet. Stalker drwas a nice outside post and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (My Little Morgan) - Another who's lightly raced and her stalking style fits well here. Drops down today and she's been competitive in all six of her outings. Win candidate from the Carava barn.
4th pick: #5 (Benecia) - She's an improved runner since coming back from a seven month layoff in late August. Working fast locally for this and she should get a fast pace to rally into.
