Premium Pick

Top pick: #1 (BRYAN DANIEL) - Not many "Triple Crown" nominees racing in $30K maiden claimers but this grey colt by "Holy Bull" is the exception. Stalker has the rail, good positional speed and is (3-0-2-1) the three times he's raced for a price. Hollendorfer trained 3-year-old is the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #7 (Popular Cause) - Son of "Orientate" has been competitive facing special weights and will undergo some changes this afternoon. Trainer Eoin Harty will drop him into a claimer for the first time, shorten him up in distance, switch him from turf to dirt, and he also adds blinkers. Major player in this spot.

3rd pick: #3 (Star Navigator) - Improving sort finished a pace-setting third at this price going a mile three weeks ago. Trainer Bob Troeger is having a strong meet (25-8-2-3) and it's good to see Valenzuela keep the faith. Working fast and cuts-back in yardage. Dangerous rival.
