Top pick: #7 (ROCK OFF) - He's been a bit unlucky in several of his starts and probably should have broken his maiden by now. He's had tough inside draws in his last pair and in the start before that had a difficult outside draw at Hollywood. Freshened-up for the past six weeks, colt by "Rock Hard Ten" is working fast for this, draws a nice outside post, and can take this from just off the pace.
2nd pick: #4 (Prime Number) - Nice effort in his debut saw him chase the pace and stay on gamely to finish third racing at this level and distance on Jan. 15. Blinkers go on today and he's a win candidate with any improvement.
3rd pick: #6 (Stormberg) - Has a new trainer today (Mike Mitchell 31% with new arrivals) and $450K ridgling by "Storm Cat" is working both frequently and above average for his return.
