2nd pick: #4 (Wednesday) - Excellent debut saw her rally strongly to miss by a neck at Del Mar going 5.5 furlongs. Trainer Carla gaines (28% second-time out) has her working fast locally and stretches her out to a mile. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Vixen) - The second of the Baffert duo, she was sharp in her debut when finishing a close-up third at this level and distance on the Del Mar "poly" on Sept. 2. Solid first out and it came from an outside post at a "tricky" trip for a debuting 2-year-old.
