Top pick: #6 (PRESSURE TIME) (3-1) - Gelding ran well when debuting on the Hollywood grass on Dec. 12. He showed early speed and held nicely to be beaten just 3 1/2 lengths in a large field (12). The Mullin's barn has him working well locally and I like his chances.
2nd pick: #2 (Dreamingofatticus) (7-2) - He exits the same Dec. 12 race as "Pressure Time" and the pair finished on equal terms.He ran 3rd here in his only previous start on real dirt and Bejarano stays aboard.
3rd pick: #3 (Charismick) (4-1) - Debuting gelding is working very fast at Turf Paradise for his first start and he's in a more than capable barn (Troy Taylor). Dangerous if he runs to his AM drills.
4th pick: #4 (Atascaderan) (9-2) - Veteran Art Sherman sends out this debuting 4-year-old and the works are all above average. Must be left in the mix.
