Top pick: #4 (ZANDER) - Gelding chased and weakened whil racing wide when debuting here at this price on Jan. 27. 3-year-old by "E. Dubai" had a tough outside post that afternoon and drwas much better today. Good second-out barn (Vann Belvoir 25%) adds blinkers and he can take this at a nice price.
2nd pick: #7 (Already There) - He showed some talent early in his career, but never quite lived up to it. He's been competitive in his last pair when trainer Pete Miller dropped him into claimers and last out he finished an even third at this tag and trip.
3rd pick: #1 (Master Rudy) - Heavily bet here on Feb. 17 when returning from a 6 1/2 month layoff, he raced wide and evenly to finish fourth. That should serve as a nice prep for this and trainer Mike Puype stretches him out a furlong and has him make back to back starts for the first time. In the win mix.
