San Jose at Edmonton

The San Jose Sharks have nothing to play for. The Sharks' quest for an 11th consecutive postseason appearance went down in flames with a 5-3 setback at Arizona on Saturday and officially ended two nights later when the club was eliminated with a 5-1 loss to Dallas in its home finale. The Sharks are 5-9-2 in their past 13 home games and failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 2002-03, so it's hard to see them wanting to play on this trip to Edmonton. Edmonton moved out of the Pacific Division cellar with a 6-5 stretch the last 11 games. Matt Fraser scored a pair of goals and the Oilers dealt a blow to the postseason hopes of the defending Stanley Cup champion LA Kings with a 4-2 victory on Tuesday.
