This will be a big measuring stick kind of game for the Sharks. The Redwings have dropped just one game at home all season long. This is the kind of game that can propel a good team into a stretch of good games. The Sharks have a bit of pedigree here in this spot as they have taken down Detroit in five of the last seven meetings, so they will be a confident team coming in here. They are catching Detroit at a good time as this will be the Redwings third game in four nights. It is just the second time this season for them in this spot, with the first coming at home vs Phoenix where they needed overtime to win. I like San Jose in this spot.
