San Francisco at San Diego

There's hope in San Diego after an opening day win against the Giants, but there is still cause for concern. Their rotation is very inexperienced. Tonight's starter, Joey Lucchesi is the only starter who has pitched a full season as a starter. He was just 8-9 last season with a 4.08 ERA. Opposing him is Derek Holland who improved greatly last season. Two years ago in Chicago, Holland put up a 6.20 ERA. Last year he took that all the way down to 3.57 with the Giants. He has 214 starts under his belt, compared to just 26 for Lucchesi. The Pads were just 20-38 last season at home in night games as well. I like San Francisco here at the nice odds.
