San Francisco has been one of the biggest surprises of the season as it currently is in playoff position after going on a 17-8 run following a slow start. The Giants won 6-4 on Thursday when Wilmer Flores hit a go-ahead two-run triple in the seventh, and the bullpen allowed only three hits and no runs in seven innings after starter Tyler Anderson was ejected in the third inning. Logan Webb comes off a decent performance against the Padres on Sunday in four innings of work. This is a revenge series for the Giants, who were swept by the Athletics in August.
