San Diego at Chicago

Great pitching matchup in Chicago tonight as Jake Peavy squares off with Ted Lilly. The Dodgers have not been winning at the rate they did last season with Peavy on the hill, and have in fact dropped four of the last five games he took the mound. One of the problems is the fact that the Padres offense has been non-existent, and it has led them to the worst record in baseball to this point of the season. Lilly got off to a horrible start, but has found himself over his last four starts where he has out-pitched Peavy to the tune of a 2.25 ERA, with the Cubs winning three of four. Have to call the pitching matchup here a wash, while the Cubs are a far better team and are likely to put one in the win column at home.
