San Diego at Arizona

San Diego scored five runs in the ninth inning to come back and beat the Diamondbacks 8-5 on Wednesday night. Jered Weaver is 0-1 but he has pitched three quality starts in a row, including his last outing when he allowed two runs and four hits in six innings against Miami. Weaver threw one bad pitch to Martin Prado, who tied it at two in the sixth and the Marlins went on to win in extra innings. Taijuan Walker gave up four runs and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings against the Dodgers his last start, but his offense bailed him out in a 13-5 win for Arizona. Walker has given up eight runs and 14 hits in 11 2/3 innings at home this season and his overall ERA is 4.57. Walker sill is adjusting to pitching in hitter-friendly Chase Field after four years of having Safeco Field as his home park. There is lots of value with the underdog in this matchup, so back the Padres.
